Why I Became Thermomix® Consultant
I thought the perfect place to start this blog was by sharing a little about me, my Thermomix® journey and why I recently decided to take the next step and become a Thermomix® consultant.
Welcome to Gamble Creek Farm!
Over the past three years, I’ve made some pretty significant changes to the way I approach food and my health. I’ve lost a considerable amount of weight, but one of my biggest goals now is making those changes sustainable. For me, that means focusing less on highly processed convenience foods and more on real, homemade food made from ingredients I actually recognise.
The problem? Like so many people, I’m incredibly time-poor.
I’m working full time, I’m a wife and mum of two young adults, and life can get busy very quickly. I love the idea of cooking from scratch, but I certainly don’t have hours every afternoon to spend in the kitchen.
That’s where my Thermomix® journey began.

From the TM6 to the TM7
I started with a Thermomix® TM6, and it quickly became one of the most-used appliances in my kitchen.
I began discovering just how many things I could make myself rather than automatically buying them at the supermarket. Sauces, stock pastes, breads, dips, baking, meals, desserts and pantry staples suddenly felt achievable — even during a busy working week.
Then the Thermomix® TM7 was announced.
With its new design, larger touchscreen and new cooking features, I knew I wanted to upgrade. Since getting my TM7, I’ve become even more interested in discovering exactly what this machine can do.
And that’s actually what led me to becoming a consultant.

Why I became a Thermomix consultant?
I realised that despite owning a Thermomix for some time, there were still so many features, techniques and recipes I hadn’t explored.
Becoming a consultant gives me the opportunity to learn more, challenge myself to use my TM7 to its full potential and, most importantly, share what I discover with other people.
I’m particularly interested in three things:
Save time – Save money – Making more from scratch
I want to see how much of what we routinely put into our supermarket trolley can actually be made at home — and whether doing that can genuinely save money while giving us more control over the ingredients we’re eating.
What you’ll find at Gamble Creek Farm!
That’s what this blog is going to be about.
I’ll be sharing my Thermomix experiments, recipes, TM7 tips, homemade supermarket swaps, freezer cooking, time-saving ideas and some honest comparisons of whether making something yourself is actually worth the effort.
You definitely don’t need to own a Thermomix to follow along, either. At its heart, Gamble Creek Farm is about making real food fit into real life.
And the name Gamble Creek Farm has a bigger story still to come. As our plans for the farm progress, I’ll be sharing that journey here too — the exciting milestones, the challenges, what we’re learning along the way and eventually the realities of day-to-day farm life. Over time, you’ll see the blog grow alongside the farm, with more content about country living, growing and producing food, farm projects and creating the lifestyle we’re working towards.
So while Thermomix and cooking might be where Gamble Creek Farm begins, they’re definitely not where the story ends.
And I’m still learning too — which is part of the fun.
If you’re curious about the Thermomix® TM7, would like to see what it can do or would like to arrange a demonstration either in person or virtually, you’re very welcome to contact me through the contact me page, email or you can click the Instagram or Facebook buttons on the bottom of the page and contact me via Messenger at Gamble Creek Farm. As a Thermomix consultant, I’m always happy to answer questions — even if you’re simply curious.
Thanks for joining me at the beginning of this little adventure.
